At the digital heart of Lovelight, there thrives a versatile and innovative crew: the DIB team (short for Do It Better). With a harmonious mix of tech-savviness, creativity, and problem-solving, this team seamlessly blends the worlds of design and IT, making Lovelight tick with precision. From daily tech support to large-scale projects, they've got IT covered (pun intended). This month, we’re giving you a front-row seat into the lives of our four digital maestros. 

Brock, Jesse (back) & Rob, Isaac (front)

First up, Jesse. Transitioning from a background in communication design, he now juggles roles between design and DIB. On any given day, Jesse can be seen attending to tech support, setting up operations for new team members, or delving deep into data. A firm believer in providing solutions, Jesse says, "Obstructions and problems are inevitable, but it's our job to fix them. This not only streamlines processes but also helps everyone at Lovelight grow in understanding." One of Jesse’s joys? Building strong relationships across different company sectors, an opportunity he cherishes.

Then we have Isaac. Armed with a PhD in physics and an indomitable spirit to tackle software development challenges, Isaac’s journey led him to Lovelight’s DIB team. A day in his shoes? Stand-up meetings, analyzing data, troubleshooting, and driving projects forward. Isaac is a big believer in the DIB team mantra: "Fix it and get it done". When looking towards the future, he advocates for greater automation, aiming to eliminate manual tasks in order to provide more time for true creativity in the workplace.  

Enter Brock, a DIB veteran. From his initial days in product development to eventually helping form the DIB team, Brock's journey through Lovelight's different facets is remarkable. Day-to-day, he's swamped with tasks ranging from handling minor tech requests to strategising on big projects. For Brock, real success comes when initiatives save time and boost productivity. He has a special penchant for reporting and enjoys crafting dashboards with SQL to provide valuable insights for the team.  

Last but not least, meet Rob, the DIB team leader. With a unique background that ranges from being a schoolteacher to a software developer, Rob's versatility is his superpower. Whether it's leading major projects or simply providing tech support, Rob’s goal remains consistent: to ease manual processes and make people's lives simpler. In Rob's ideal world, businesses would prioritize respecting individual workers, valuing their contributions, and hearing their voices.   

Together, these four digital dynamos form a powerhouse that keeps Lovelight on the cutting edge. Whether it's software development, data reporting, or just the daily grind of tech support, the DIB team’s commitment to excellence ensures Lovelight's digital world never skips a beat.
