Bridget's initial dive into the realm of window furnishings began with crafting elegant curtains alongside her mother right after she finished school. Six years of hard work and honing skills then prepared her for a pivotal move to Melbourne in 2021, with eyes set on the high-end residential sector.

In Melbourne’s bustling and vibrant design landscape, Bridget found Lovelight to be the perfect place for her ambition to seed, desiring to be immersed in projects that were not only larger but more complex and challenging. She has since become one of the stars of Lovelight’s bespoke residential sales team with her unique savviness and creativity swiftly elevating her into the Senior Sales role.

Each day in Bridget’s world is different, with a mix of client consultations and meetings with interior designers, architects, suppliers, and distributors. Whether meticulously discussing motorisation and pelmet plans with site supervisors or delving into the nitty-gritty with custom installers on building sites, every detail is pored over and perfected.

What truly gets Bridget’s creative juices flowing is the prospect of collaborating with designers who are unafraid to push boundaries and envision the extraordinary. Projects under her care have included unexpected details such as chainmail curtains, boasted of grandeur with 6m high ceilings and hand-sewn Romans, and harnessed the latest tech with integrated motorisation and suspended tracks. Working with luxurious fabrics and finishes, each project is not just a job but a set piece, with some even gracing the prestigious pages of Vogue Living. 

Lately, Bridget’s expertise have been focussed on a project in Toorak’s prestigious Glendye Court. Collaborating with Flack Studio and LBA Construction on this feature project, every day has offered both a challenge and an opportunity. With a variety of products and fabrics to navigate and the extensive scale of the site, Bridget is in her element, turning challenges into testimonials of Lovelight’s commitment to both creativity and precision. 

Serving architects, designers, and builders as clients means Bridget is constantly engaging with individuals who have clear visions and expectations. They push the boundaries of the conventional and inspire Bridget to think outside the box in order to craft innovative solutions that align seamlessly with their aspirations and visions for the spaces they wish to create. 

With projects often spanning more than two years, from the initial quote to installation, Bridget is not just managing but crafting Lovelight’s solutions at each step of the way. “Managing expectations, attending to the finest details, and meeting stringent deadlines, the responsibility is immense but so is the reward” says Bridget.  Lovelight is proud to know that under Bridget’s meticulous care, every project is not just completed; but brought to life, with both an elegance and a quality that is unmatched.
