Entrecôte Délice

What a délice, or delight it has been to assist interior designer David Flack of Flack Studio in designing the space for Jason Jones’ stunning South Yarra restaurant, Entrecôte earlier this year. The brief called for contemporary meets shabby chic Parisian styled window furnishings to compliment the Parisian steakhouse-inspired restaurant décor.

For the main dining room, Lovelight worked with David to carefully select soft and relaxed curtains that would span floor to high to ceiling in order to create an expansive feel. Mokum’s Willow coloured Kyoto sheer linen curtain featuring a three-sided black velvet border met the criteria perfectly. David knew it when he saw it, Flashback Fabric & Wallpaper’s Banana Leaf curtain would stimulate a festive mood for the private function room. External awnings would be decidedly classic: a French canopy specifically in a true red, including a front straight valance with a black, powder-coated frame supporting fixed position awnings.
